Almost 24 weeks

Thumper is growing fast. I sometimes get startled by the kicks! I can even see the kicks through my clothes! It is so interesting and fun at the same time. Thumper is also developing some good hearing, so I hear. It is so cool that my baby will know my voice from the moment he/she enters this world. Thumper is well over a pound and over a foot in length. That is pretty big. Time is going very fast right now.

I am sorry to share the sad news that we lost my mother-in-law, Kathy, during surgery to remove cancer in her abdomen. This is a huge loss on our part and a huge gain on hers. She is with Jesus and no longer suffering. We love her so much, our sadness is selfish, because we wanted her here. I am sad that she didn't get to meet our little baby before she left, but so happy that she could be there for the ultra sound. I can still hear in my head what she always said to her grand babies, and what she would have said to this one. "Gramma loves you!" Reading it is not the same as hearing it, but knowing how much she loved her family is a legacy that we will always hold on to.

Dearest Cheramie & Thumper,

Everyday I get more excited and joyful about the birthday arrival. I am sorry it has to take so long. I know when the day finally comes my joy will be overflowing and unending.

Love you soooo much,

Gramma Patty

Dear Unborn Thumper,

This is your Gramma "Crackers" writing to you. (cracker are sorta like toast). Well, I really wish I could see you now. But I am sure glad they let us watch your pictures being taken (from the inside out) at the Sunrise Medical Clinic. It was really wonderful all be together to see you, Besides your mom and dad, your maternal and paternal grandparents got to watch, as well as your Aunt, Amy Jo Angel. 4D ultrasound machines are just great for having a look inside. We were glued to the monitor for over an hour watching your every move!
It was especially great cause your Gramma Kathy was there too see you. She went away to be with Jesus last week and we are all sad she couldn't stay longer with us, But we are sure we will be seeing very soon . . . at least that is what we hope.

Well, I better go for now. I have been kinda sick this week, but some of my family have kindly given their time to help me. Isn't that wonderful!? I love you very much, even though I haven't see you yet honey.
Bye for now Thumper Unborn ~ From your own Gramma Crackers!!!

PS-Its' not just me who is excited - we all are so!!!
