Rockin' & Rollin'

On Monday we saw our midwife, Nancy. Everything is going well and normal. I weighed in and at this point have gained exactly 20 pounds. I am happy with that. Considering that I will gain about a pound a week for the next 14 weeks, I am feeling right on track. This is important to me because I don't want the baby to be any bigger than I am afraid it will be! Plus, then I won't have as much to lose.

The baby is very active, moving around a lot. This is also a good sign. It's heart rate is very fast, but normal. That puts the baby in the statistical pattern to be a girl, but my baby is no statistic and who really knows what it is! Some are certain it is a girl, some are certain it is a boy. Only one person knows besides God...the ultra sound technician :)

Next week I am starting a 12 week birth class in The Bradley Method. That is a big commitment, but since we are planning to have more children it is an investment! I am excited. Although, I might not get my money out of it because the baby may come before the class finishes. Three holidays fall on thursdays and that is when the class is :)

So you have a little musician in there huh?! (Rockin n' rollin). I haven't gotten to feel the baby move lately and when I did, it was very early and light. I want to FEEL some of this rockin and rollin this little one is doing. Got a look at some things I get to borrow from Cheryl today. One thing was a stroller, so I am excited to take Thumper for a walk around the park! I know, I will bundle him/her up really good cause it'll be cold in January when we go walkin' for the first time!
Much Love, Grandma Moishe

I LOVE that you are not finding out if Thumper is a boy or a girl. We have loved each and every one of our surprises.
